I was checking out the tip on building crappie condo's and I'll be building some on bad weather days because there is tons of bamboo around here, just thought I would say hello to all. I would be fishing now but too windy in area where I've been getting the best crappies(2 lbs. +) most around 1 lb. I've using a 1/32oz jig with red head white tail and fishing 25 to 33 foot of water on a break line ,here on Crooked Lake Florida. If anyone would like local info on lakes here or just talk fishing feel free to message me or e-mail me. I have a small fishing guide service and I fish 300+ days a year. I have a web site with logs and photo links and info. and stuff.

Well Crooked lake is over 7,000 acres now after hurricanes and very deep for a Florida lake, it has a 63 foot deep spring as well as 6 other springs. There is a map and several years of fishing logs on my site link above, I had to delete many logs because it got too long. Crappies are feeding up for the pre-spawn now. I just up dated my log on my site a little bit ago , the newest log is at bottom of the page.
