Good price for a trolling motor?

$125 for a Minn Kota Endura 50lb/thrust and a "Stowaway Deep Cycle"
battery. Transom mounted, not sure exact size (possibly 38" or so).
Its been sitting unused since a photographer-friend sold his powerboat.
He is willing to let us take it for a test run before purchase.

Assuming it works would it be a good deal?

I think that motor NEW is only about 89-99 dollars. How old is the battery? Do a google search for that model of motor and thrust power and see what comes back. It sounds to me like he's gonna get out of it what he paid for it, or dang close, even though it's a USED item.
