    Default Jann's Netcraft

Any of you guys make your own cranks from here....Painted Crankbait bodies, unpainted crankbait bodies

Looks like you can build them for about $ 2.25 or less.....

I usually opt for shopping Bass Pro/Cabelas and catching them on sale for 1.99 a piece. Not much cheaper but...more convienent. When they have a "knock off" in the color I want and use, I just buy a good dozen or so. That usually gets me through the year until they are on sale again.

I have ordered froms Jann's several times the last few years. I build my inline spinners and walleye rigs with their parts. I go to Canada once a year and lures are expensive there so I save alot by making my own. Plus I enjoy making them and it gives me something to do in the winter months.

I buy a ton of stuff from Jann's, but not crankbait bodies. I've used their
blades, skirts, swivels for making buzz baits and spinner baits. My only complaint is their shipping costs are ridiculous if ya only buy a few low cost items.

I buy lots of my parts from them but not crankbait bodies. I've read on several of the tackle making sites that some of the guys have tried them and that they're ok but you got ta have painting skills, and this kid just don't have em LOL

    Thumbs up Janns cb bodies...

I have ordered and used their cb bodies for the last 5 years. I buy the unpainted cb and airbrush them add hooks and they fish great! I haven't had any problems with them. I like the flatsided cb and the springer 78s the best. I have caught alot of fish on them. By the time I am done adding split rings and hooks, I have about $3 in them. Cheaper than $5-15 on them if you buy the originals, like Bandits or Lucky Craft pointers.
Plus you can paint them whatever color you like best.
