Default 1st for me on Norman

Last Saturday, we hooked a Loon. It ate a 20'deep shiner when we was sriper fishing. I wanted to get it up close to have a look at it and unhook it. That bird has some increadable pulling power! It finaly broke off the 14lb fluro leader. Don't think we could have ever landed that thing.
    I don't fish because I want to, I fish because I HAVE to !

    Moma tried real hard.

you should try catching them on a crappie rod
When in doubt, set the hook.

I don't doubt it went down 20', there were a lot of them in a lake I fished in Va. I once counted to 60 when the loon dove til the time he resurfaced.

Also yesterday it had to be a swan I saw it was one big bird.
