    Default Rhodhiss frozen


    Was gonna take friday off & go slooooow troll for some crappie at Rhodhiss. Heard rumors @ ice, so I drove down thursday evening just to take a look. Rumors were true ! Lake is frozen from bank to bank. Never seen that before.
    Broke ice around the docks at Castle Bridge & it's between 1/4 & 1/2" thick.
    Heard Hickory is frozen to. Sooooo, now I'm at work, just dreamin about fishing.

    Default I feel your pain Skeeterguy

    I was all set to go fishing yesterday on my day off. I was also gonna try out my new trolling motor. Alas, Lake Adger was frozen. Looks like a couple of inches. Looks like I'm headed to South Carolina. Now I know why the bait shop was closed!
