    Here I was thinking that the Crappie website must've closed down when waterfowl season started. Now just about the same time that duck-hunting is drawing to a close and I'm fixing to get the fishin' boat fired up again, I get a nice call from a C.C member wantin' to know if I'm still alive.

    Yep. Still here...just haven't picked up a rod since a few weeks after fall crappie camp.

    Now I log back in today and see where there's another camp gettin' organized, and it MIGHT even be on my birthday weekend ?!? Woo-hoo!

    Can somebody confirm what the dates are? If its the weekend of Fri 4/23, the Samples Family will all be there, have a birthday drink or three, and catch some fish. We'll even drag along our fancy Ronco ebay 'tater and onion slicing doo-hickey I bought over the winter (had slicer envy after the last couple of camps :D so I picked one up).
    Teach your kids to hunt and fish and you won't have to hunt for your kids !!

    Yeah, we kinda got an ealry start on camp this spring. lol

    Closed for the winter??? Come on Ralph, we've been fishing! Well some of us, and the others are making jigs, baits, re-spooling reels and all kinds of stuff going on this winter here on MO cdc.
