Some pretty nice fish for a light bite Jerry
It's way too warm here for this time of year. Surface temps are still in the mid 60s - should be ten degrees cooler.
Hamilton is dropping fast - 2.5-feet down since Saturday and another 2.5 to go by next Saturday. The bite was understandably light today and we missed more fish than we caught (three real good ones almost to the net) but we had some nice crappie - 4 were between 14 and 15-inches and another was 13.5-inches. They are real thick and the females are starting to put on eggs for next spring's spawn.
Were suppose to get some cooler weather over the weekend so maybe the Fall Feeding Frenzy will get back on track!
Some pretty nice fish for a light bite Jerry
I'm sick of following my dreams. I'm just going to ask them where they're goin' and hook up with them later.
Yeah, the bite was light and the fish are obviously confused. Nonetheless, the difference in right place, right time and professional expertice on Jerry's part (way to go brother). We didn't fair as well on the same lake at the same time, but still not skunked.
