Welcome to the board, I know you will enjoy it. And if there is anything I can do to help just let me know.
I have enjoyed reading all of the posts on here. It's great to have a website that messages are posted from people fishing the same waters that I can get to living in KC. I fished Smithville last Friday and caught a few small fish in Sailboat. I look forward to reading more about Smithville and if it wasn't for opening weekend for Pheasant season this week, I would be on the water. Oh well, I guess those papermouths will have to be caught when I get home on Monday!
When in doubt, set the hook.

Welcome! What part of the KC area do you call home? I live in southern Platte county, just north of Northmoor. Fish Smithville mostly. Boat is in the driveway ready to go tomorrow morning. Will let you know if I found any crappie.

I live in Liberty. I can be on the water in 20 minutes from my house...that is if I don't stop at Burtons to pick up some minnows. Let me know if you find any fish because I plan on being there on Monday.

Which cove did you catch the crappie in? North or South of Sailboat? Shady Hollow is the name of cove north I believe. Thanks for the info!

Welcome aboard
Thanks for the info mduncan62. I am planning on having my Tracker Pro Crappie in the water all winter long...as long as there isn't ice on the ramp, I will be on the water.Originally Posted by mduncan62

Do not know a Ryan Moffitt so I assume no relation.
Anybody fishing tomorrow in the snow? I think I am waiting until Friday.
