good going beagle. Don't know where you went to get out of the wind. Didn't get a call at 5 or 6 so i went to work. By 9 i was working hard.
And I have no complaints, except that FROSTY AND BUZZMAN canceled on me, ??? and they missed a heck of a day, first brush pile produced 5 and it just got better after that, fished two brush piles and ended up with 22 keeper crappie and 50 fruit of the loom fish, heck of a day,
water 59dg
jig blue/silver slab buster
jig 1/8 hand poured buzzmanmo
depth was 35ft of water 17 to 20 ft. down
had to be moving they didnt want it still just slow trolled arround the brush and every pass fish on it was windy as all get out but we hid in a cove and it wasnt bad, ran the trolling motor on 4 most of the time and it is usually on 2 so not bad at all.

I hear you on the trolling motor mine was on 2 then 5 too much back to 2 then 3 then 4 all morning long....good job catching them, I have a feeling old Frosty is playing with pictures again, I have give him some ammunition... You win the wind award....
A FISH IN THE PAN IS WORTH TWO IN THE LAKE
Sounds like you had a heck of a day even with the wind! Great work Old Dog! Glad your safe at home!
I guess according to KY3 tv a boat with 2 people in it capsized today at Pomme de Terre. One man drowned and the other one is in really bad shape!
Sounds like a blast Beagle!!!

Good job Beagle. Was you able to get out of any down there? Brother-in-law told me he watched a show of them trolling cranks at Stockton in the coves.

thanks all it was a hoot, and a holler, buzzy buzzy buzzy you know I dont start early,
silver sides, I thought when I bought the 80lb thrust trolling motor it would be to much, but like the old saying goes better to have it and not need than need it and not have it.
ranger trolling cranks in a cove, do it all the time and didn't know they put it on video. I guess the secret is out now, it was a good day
Good job fellas. That wind on Stockton can be brutal.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, rather to skid in sideways, body used up and totally worn out screaming 'WOO~HOO what a ride!'
Sounds like a fun day Beagle......even with the wind
Crappie.......its whats for dinner!!
Excellent job beagle!Glad you got in them!
