    Default Leader or No?


    Just wondering; of those of you who use braid line (Fireline, etc.) how many use a flourocarbon or mono leader and how many just tie direct to the braid. I love the strength of the braid (hang ups, etc.), not sure how one or the other method effects the fish.

    I have used mono w/power pro-wasn't worth the trouble in my opinion...your mileage may vary

    I use the Stren Hi-Vis gold Braid. Tie straight to the line with no leader with out a problem.

    Never use a leader w/Power Pro 10#. Just don't need it.
