We want thank everyone who came and participated in the Clark Hill event, very memorable and enjoyable . The weather took it's toll on the fishing but didn't dampen the spirits of the fine fisher men and women that make up Ga. Slab Masters. In all honesty on a lesser lake the weights would have been about right, but for Clark Hill they were way off and it was very challenging for everyone due to some weird weather patterns ( that's why we call it fishing and not catching right?), but hey, we all had fun, fellowship, and I got to see my favorite people in the whole world. We can't wait to see ya'll at Eufaula for another test of skills, the over coming of odds, and the embracement of the challenge to Win. These Tournaments are just flat out Fun, to the highest degree !!!!!!!

On the fishing this Sat. at Clark Hill it was the dock shooting pattern that prevailed once again, with the winning team culling through literally a couple hundred fish to get their winning weight on some of Ricky's jigs. They were thinking outside the box and most times all it takes is a little difference in your approach to make huge difference in your outcome. Quit a few teams caught good numbers just not big weight which is what we are after. Second place were also shooting ,with I think the rest pushing and pulling. Jeanne Fry had the big fish the day of the tournament almost 2.5 lbs and on Friday she caught one about 3 lbs in the same area. I think the lake is about to bust wide open for some great fishing, they just need some stablization in the weather and water levels and it will get on fire, Soap Creek Marina is a great place to start.
