They better or something is going to get hurt.
I went yesterday and caught 14 keepers in 8-10 feet of water on minnows. It was sunny with temperatures in the low 80's. A cold front came through today and temps. are going to be in the 50's tomorrow. Will the fish still bite?

Oncoming fronts usually make the fish bite.Supposed to do the same thing here in Tn. tomorrow.Cooler temps. will drop the water temp. which is a big plus!!!Go Get Em And Good Luck!!

they will bit but they will be at a different depth probabley .
retired and now i will always fish
Low pressure front moving in (barometer dropping). Cooler air with front. Fish gonna bite, but they be eating from a different dinner table. Check ur "hot spot" first, but don't linger too much. Remember fish just like us. We hang around outside and cook and eat, snack, etc. when it's nice weather, but let the temp drop, we head for cover..Well, so do the fishes. Fishes like their comfort zones just like us...

Cold front went through here yesterday evening. We did real well under brite sunny skies before the front but today under heavy cloud cover and a northwest wind the bite got real lite and shut off this afternoon. The pressure was rising all day. This is a typical pattern but this time of year dropping water temps turns the bite on so it usually doesn't take long for the bite to get back on after a cold front passes if it also brings cooler weather.
If they aren't were you left them before the front try fishing deeper, slower and use smaller bait and you can still get a mess most of the time.
I was catching them in stickups along a deep creek channel. The water was about 20' on the front side of the stickups and about 12 on the backside. The fish were about 8-10' deep right next to the stickups. So you think they'll just move deeper or move to different structure?
First thing I would do is check to see if they are still in the same place. If you don't get a bite start fishing deeper 6-inches to a foot at a time, especially if you're marking fish deeper than they were. We put brushpiles at different depths down a point or drop-off and sometimes they will move to a deeper brushpile but often times they will be on the same brushpile but deeper and tighter to the cover.
