    Default Truman Osage 10/12

First of all I told some folks I was cleaning my boat today, and that is what I done this am. It was spitting a little rain this am here at home so I got the old tub all cleaned up, and Kaz had pmed me he was going to go this afternoon, so I invited myself along ( I am good at that), man am I glad I did. We crossed the upper ends of the grand and it looked like choclate so we went on down to barry bend and went down until we found the mud line, then went to fishing...... I knew it was going to be good, the first tree we hit we had 5 keepers and 2 of them were tour. fish. everywhere we fished we caught'em in 15' fow down about 9 and 10' and seemed like they wanted something with black on it..... We started at 1:30 and quit at 5 and had 35 really nice keepers and probably 10 tour. fish....... I took one with 6 and 2 more I am holding......... threw everything back, no wind , no rain, super nice and calm...... thank you Kaz for letting me tag along........ now get that depth finder working...........:D last pic is of just how calm the lake was at 3:30 pm..........

Way to go guys. I am ging to hit it hard the end of the week. Guys are wanting to have a fish fry at work on my shift for Oct. birthdays. They said no store bought fish they wanted Jared's fish. So guess I will have to clean some for once. It was a nice day to be out.

Steve, nice of you to put Monty on some fish. Lord knows he needs some help. :D

    Default Great job Steve, Monty

How was the water color? Looks like they are letting out water at a pretty good clip down stream. Only came up a foot from Sunday to today. I thought the wind always blew when you two got together:D:D
