Good job Quinn. Sounds like alot of fun!!!
Well folks sorry I missed all of you at camp sounds like I missed a doozey
Meanwhile, I went to the "accessible" dock here at the NoJoe hole to fiddle around not expecting much. I am pleased to see that the crappie had moved back up to the dock.
Caught and released about 20 in about 2 hrs. size ranging from the Micro NoJoes to some pushing 13 inches.
Did the same Sunday and kept 10 nice 10" ers to eat (came prepared with my fish basket)
Met up with an old fart Earl that fishes there often and we caught 5 really nice ones in the hour I was there.
Used jigs, gray/perl and a blue sparkle/white were the only colors that caught anything. I down sized from a 1/4 oz to 1/8th to slow it down and worked allot better. Earl caught the biggest ones with his minners.
Great time even in the wind.
Good thing, I have in-laws from Vegas the next week and was really wanting to put them on some fish. Hope they stay by the dock for another week or so
PS the crappie nibbles also worked on about 80 % of what I caught.
