water temp on 10-9 was 67-68 degrees....water temp on 10-16 was 64-65 degrees....
Fished 10-15 & 10-16 back in cove#1. Wind was quite strong, sunny all day...fished brush piles w/ minnow and float from 4ft - 6ft....total depth 8ft..in all 1 crappie...Now here's the humdinger last sunday 10-9 fished the same cove, overcast no sun... and same presentation and boated 25 crappie...15 of which were all 11" and above!!!! Does the wind have anything to do with it?
Thanks

The wind may have shoved your crappie into other cover. We had a pretty brutal high on us over the weekend, which may have them deeper. We were fishing Rush Run for trout that had been released last week, but no takers. The problem there, though, is that the water is still too warm at 63 degrees. Trout don't feed much when they stay in deeper cooler water. - Roberta

Going to try Delaware Lake in about 20minutes...going to fish the boat docks...will report back tomorrow.
wish me well.
