Fished Clinton Monday. Started in the trees in the wakarusa arm with no luck. Tried the trees in Coon creek no luck. Fished brush piles 12 fow by the west boat ramp Caught several small ones and a couple white bass. Not a very good day for keepers.

Ron in his boat and Doug and I in my boat fished Clinton's Rock Creek today after getting wind that a couple of good fishers had caught some nice crappie up there last Sunday.

Well Doug and I only picked up on the part about catching some nice crappie and for some reason we missed the part about good fishers as a prerequisite requirement for catching those crappie. We went up above the log jam and determined we weren't qualified to catch fish up there and we proceeded back down below the bridge on to Rock Creek where Ron and I had fished a week ago and confirmed that we were also not qualified to catch fish there today either.:o Doug and I only caught 6 total all day with 2 legals.

Ron being a good fisher did catch some legals but I don't know what he finally ended up with so he will have to supply that info. Ron, being the nice guy that he is, left the lake earlier than Doug and I because he just couldn't stand to watch the utter humiliation being inflicted upon us by his fish catching. :D

Thanks Chadku for the info on Rock Creek, first time above the bridge. Like LBM and Doug had limited success. But thats the way the past week has been for me. Did put a few fish in the boat above the bridge. Nothing big, 12 inches, I did catch a two pound carp in a brush pile. All in all a poor day fishing, 5 legals, 12 total. Now have to dry the boat, do not like carpet, rain, rain go away.
