    Default Stockton Sat. B-DAY fishing

My Wife asked a silly question....What do you want to do for your Birthday.......I says GO FISHING!! Me and my son headed for stockton. Put in at CC. Pretty foggy when we got there, so we Fished the bridge piers first, only a couple shorts. Headed for the Timber....First tree....A double, both keepers. Fished the tree's the rest of the day. Blue/White was good till the sun came out, then switched to blk/chart. Ended up with 11 keepers, a couple 12 inchers. Saw Polebender, and JLT. They got a late start due to some battery problems. Thanks for the fish....with yours we had 14. Not many boats out where we were. I think the birthday did have an effect.....after Dinner.....Sound asleep! Great Day of fishing with my son!! Here's a Pic of Matt with a couple....

I just KNOW it was a big one!!!

Good job Mike. Sounds like you ran into a rough crew though.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, rather to skid in sideways, body used up and totally worn out screaming 'WOO~HOO what a ride!'
