Grand day on the Grand

Hit the lake early and ran up river in the dark. Bite did not start until daybreak. May of had around 20 total with around 9 lbs on our best 7. I call it our best 7 because 1 of them was mine. Had 5 true hogs and another 4 or 5 around a pound. Just a few sprinkles on the way in around 2 pm. Did not think about pictures until Steve was done catching all the big ones. But here is a couple from later in the day. Great day with yet another great CDC member. Not many boats out. Did see Ed and his kids long enough to wave around the U hwy bridge.

Just one more trick Dan to make them fish look bigger. That fish was a throw back but the bright shirt made it look like a 1 1/4.

Man it was a nice day to be out, worked on my stake beds some and wishing I was a fishing...... had to be great....... sounds like the weather is going to cool off but maybe the fishing won't....... good weight, good day.......
