Hope all our crappie buddies made it through the storm ok!

I've had a pretty good look at the edges of it, for the last few days. I'm on a drill ship in the Gulf and we cut and ran from it. We went west for awhile and then south toward Tampico, Mexico. Then we slipped in behind it and are now on our original location. We're waiting on the seas to settle down, before resuming work. I would much rather have been at home. All this rocking and rolling had me slightly seasick, for two days. Not to wish anything bad on the good people of Miss., Ala., and Florida, but I'm glad it mostly missed Louisiana.--Poochj

I'm like you, Pooch, glad it missed S. LA, and sorry that FL, AL and MS got the worst of it. I understand that New Orleans has some flooding due to storm surge and rain, their pumps will handle one inch of rain per hour, but no more. FL was the state that really needed a break, at least they didn't get the full force of Ivan.
