Would you tell me more about these? Where they came from and how much they cost?

station bait/tackel is down by Truman spillway. Jenny makes her own jigs and includes some crazy garlic scent in em. she gave me a few on a boat ramp and for the heck of it we tried them and were pretty suprised (in a good way) Been using them eversince. Cant get down there as much as I like so she mails em to me. They average $2.55 to $3.16 per pkg of 12. Fair believe me. She's a fisherman too so I just tell her to mail me some and she's always spot on. ha ha I just got your name. Cajun for crappies?

Being the tackle junkie i am I need to get some of those....I know with my bass fishing that garlic stuff really works...Other than YUM many of our baits do not have the attractant we need so we have to use the nibbles or spray attractants....I do not use half the stuff I have bought and it just collects dust, but may have to get a small order of em.

I sure am not having any luck getting my hands on any of these baits, weither the Slab Busters or the Slb Slayers. I've called Rocky Top and they've said they'd send me some samples but NADA as of yet and it's been 2 weeks, and guy on the Louisianna page said he'd get me a number to get the Slab Busters but also NADA as of yet. Don't feel like driving 2 1/2hrs just to look at some jigs so I reckon I'll be waiting till Someone in this vicinity has some to look at. I probably have more crap in the boat than I need anyways.

Here's the link to Slab Busters, Dan. Jack is a great guy and the jigs work.

FishyDan, Rands at Hillsdale intersection(the store on the s.w. side) was carrying the garlic scented SLAB BUSTERS a while back, LBM & I each bought 1/2 doz. bags. I've tried em a few times and just had ok luck but we all know it's a confidence thing. Good luck.

Yes and I'm still confused whether I'm using a Slab Buster or a Slab Slayer! The Bobby Garlands come in two sizes and the other I've only seen in one size and its garlic scented I think. Some have a smooth barrel body and some have ribbed bodies I think, just more things to keep my simple mind confused.

One thing I did notice about those garlic scented ones we bought at Rands is that all the colors seemed to be very light and faded as though they had been setting in the sun. I'm not sure it affects the bait's fish catching but it does dampen my confidence when I think I'll try a blue and white and see just how pale the blue is but again I also have confidence in Bailey Magnets and they seem to fade quite a bit over time.
