Default Big Bird On Stockton Today

Is what I looked like. In my cheap plastic (BRIGHT YELLOW) pants and jacket, but for the most part stayed dry. Got to roark about 9:15, and three boats were loading out. I said you all done got your limit, they said no gettin out while the gettin was good. Heard a little thunder off in the distance but headed for Birch branch. Was there about 30 min. and had two keepers and then the heavens opened up. One other boat there and he never left the water. I pulled up on a gravel bank and hid in the trees. After 30 min it let up a little and went back out. Caught a bunch of dinks, but no more keepers there. Headed toward CC and fished buzzy's ceaders. Caught 30 dinks and 4 more keepers there. Those have to be the HEAVEST 9 inch fish around. Looked up and Saw a Big BLACK CLOUD COMING and just got the boat on the trailer when it hit about 4:30. Sure was nice to feel a thump again!!
I just KNOW it was a big one!!!

Glad You Got Into Some Today Frosty! I Sure Don't Know How You Did It! We Had Some Of The Largest Rain Drops Here In Springfield That I Have Ever Seen Today. I Have No Idea How Much Rain We Got Here On The Northside But It Was Alot.

    FROSTY- you the man.

My rain gauge on the SW side of town had a little over 3 inches in it. When I left the office downtown Springfield area about 4 p.m. today it had almost 5 inches in it. If you had any of the rain like that you've got my respect. Hell, if you had half that rain, you got my respect. Oh hell, if it was a bright sunny day you still got my respect.

If that bright bird outfit you were wearing today is brighter than the one Old Ron pulled out on me a couple of weeks ago on Truman I'll kiss your Azz.

Good to hear, Frostyone. That "THUMP" overrules a little rain every time.
