Default Great weather & great fishing at Stockton

Fished Stockton today and was able to put together a limit. Started out poor in Maze creek, the only bite I had was a Drum. Left there and fished the Cedar Ridge area and after about an hour of trying to figure them out, I finally got on the pattern. 22 f.o.w. and 16 - 18 feet deep. Minnows and Blk. and Chart. jigs were the ticket today. After I found the fish I had my limit in about 1 & 1/2 hrs. Here is the pic and another of my weight watchers crappie I caught today. Never caught one that looked like that before!

Nice job. I want to get back down to Stockton. About that W.W. Fish, at least it wasn't the meaty part that was deformed. :D I've caught several where the shoulders were deformed. Still eat em though.

Hey nice job. Glad to see you got a mess. You certainly did better than myself the last time I went.

    That one is certainly interesting.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, rather to skid in sideways, body used up and totally worn out screaming 'WOO~HOO what a ride!'

It almost looks like he had a six pack ring or something caught around him as he was growing. I'm sure he'll still taste the same in the fryer!:D

Fished some around the point at cedar ridge cove and about 100 yards inside spider rigging . Also hit the little pockets with stumps off the main lake all around the cedar ridge area.
