Sounds good. You two stay after em. Quite a storm went thru here this morn. Lot of rain, rumbles and a heckuva light show.
Pulled Bandits and Shad Raps on the planer boards and boated 17 Crappies. 9 were keepers. Barn had the two biggest a 14" and one a touch under 15". They are still swimming. Kept only five for the freezer.
Early morning it didn't matter what color. Late morning and Purple Glass Rap was the hot bait. We kept the boat in 22-24 feet of water.
Running the baits with 1/2 oz snap weights 25 - 30 in front of the cranks.
My baits were running 12 - 15. Barn was a little bit deeper. That would explain the three fiddler catfish he caught.
We were on the James River Arm and trolled at various locations from Flat Creek to Bridgeport to Cape Fair.
Got under the 76 bridge during a small electrical storm and threw a 10" berkley worm up to the shore and pulled a 2# green carp. No bites on the crappie rod under the bridge.
Left the lake at 12:30. It was getting to hot without barn's bimini top.

Bp 198 Welcome to the site from Truman lake. Barn and Kit are your best bet for TAble Rock advise. Glad you guys found a few to eat and a couple of dandies released for some one else to catch later.
Good job Kit. sounds like a good time.
I'm down by the dam this weekend, but that electrical storm this morning kept me at the dock. You guys sure did see a show. Thanks for the report, wish I could run up that far tomorrow morning, but won't have the time.
