    Default June recap,cold weather/hot bite

June is gone but here's a look back...
It was a cold June ....but the action was hot.

Mallard and I had been hitting fish preetty hard in March and we carried right into June without pause.

We had been targeting pannies since 4 days after the ice went out with a finesse presentation..T.H.E. Jig and like the saying goes...if it's wet...it's catch'n fish!
And boy did we catch fish, even with 38 degree air temps and super cold water.

Too say an average day was a few hundred fish is unbelievable to some ,but that's what we caught.

There have also been other out too over the month of June.

With it warming up the walleyes have been gaining more of my attention.
I can also see a pike trip and smallmouth trip in the near future with the super hot temps arriving here in July.
I hope July is a good one for you guys too.We have 5 months until we got ice on those lakes so let's get out there and bury a few hooks into some bone!

Those are some nice looking pictures Crappiekeith. I sure wishd we could have a few of those cool days down here in Georgia right now. Surprisingly, you can still catch a few fish down here, but it's getting tougher in 85+ degree surface water at first light.:o I'm already looking forwards to fall temps.

Well it has been an exceptional hot June . The fishing has been great the catching was a little slow. That is what keeps me going back.
