    Has anyone ever tried them for crappie? I tried some the other night but could never get one hooked up with it. I was wondering if anyone has had succes with them.

    I use circle hooks all the time for spider rigging. You pretty much have to discipline yourself to let the fish hook itself. I use the lightwire Eagle Claws.
