    Default My personal best shellcracker!

I found these fish late yesterday afternoon and decided to see if they were there today. My personal best redear at 2lbs7oz and various fish at 1lb13oz and 1lb14oz. An epic day that will be very hard for me to top. My wife caught several of these fish and loved it.

Congrats on your PB! Those are all nice fish that’ll make a good dinner or two. I could stand some of those myself.

They are all nice but that big one is a giant. It would have tied the state record here in Missouri. Certainly worthy of putting it on a wall.

For anyone that has a bit of knowledge, it really is a lifetime/trophy fish because it was caught east of the Mississippi River. The large majority of redear over 2lbs come from California and Arizona.

Several lakes in Florida, South Carolina and here in Western Kentucky produce monsters but usually it's Havasu or several California lakes.
