Looking at Digitaka they have a listing for a new Banshee, no stock of course. Not even a link to the rod on the Majorcraft site.
Majorcraft does have promo videos on their youtube page.

Randy,
I know you mentioned on your channel that you won’t get rid of your Finetail Banshees. Thought you passed on the regular Finetail to your son - 63 SUL if I recall correctly. What makes the Banshee so special for you? Give the scores of JDL UL rods that have been through your hands what sets the Banshee series apart from the rest?

The Banshee was the first high end area trout rod I bought. I fell in love with it. It is smack you in your face sensitive. The 67 model really should have had one more guide but that was the only thing I found wrong with it. The SUL and XUL models behave perfectly. The new Fine Tail area rids are probably just as sensitive as the older Banshee, and lighter too. But if I’m heading out the door I’ll pick up the Banshee over the Fine Tail any day. As I’m sure you know all of these rods have a certain feel. All the Banshees feel the same, and I’m not meaning that in a bad way. It just has the feel of a quality rod. And I love the aesthetics of the Banshee. Pair one up with a Presso reel and hard to beat the looks. Always wonders what Daiwa thought when that rod came out with the Presso orange accents. I have gotten rid of several rods, and when I let my 2018 Corto go I regret to this day I sold that rod. The Banshee is one I just don’t want to let go. The new Banshee interest me with the T1100G. That material is very sensitive yet is more flexible and more durable. Have a couple of rods with that and love the feel of them.

Anybody heard any news on when or if these rods will be a reality?
Doesn’t seem to be any more info today I can find than 4 months ago….
Nope, not seen anything online. They are listed on Digitaka just like they were but 0 in inventory.
What’s the inside news on Eradicator Slow Taper Special the 6’7” SUL? I thought I read a comment (perhaps from you) that they might be in production again.

I’ve been told by a vendor I correspond with periodically that they haven’t been discontinued as far as they know yet, just not made it back to the production line and to hopefully expect to see some trickling in early 2024.
I’ll not hold my breath until I see them in stock somewhere, but I’ll buy a spare to put away in the gun safe if they ever do come available.
Makes sense to have a spare. I have the 6’3” ST special in Satly Stage Prototype. It’s an Ajing rod, not hybrid. The thump on it is like an electric jolt. Can only imagine how much better the SUL would feel. I was late to the party so don’t have one.
