Got another tube from Digitaka today. This rod will not be that impressive to the heavy hitters in the JDM world, but for me, this thing is a work of art, and the epitome of what I want in an UL rod. Of course the irony to that is, it's a light action lol. This is the Palms Pinwheel 5'6" light action extra fast. I absolutely cannot wait to take it out for a trip.

Congrats. I own a Palms Egeria XUL. It is the old model, lot of fun to fish. The aesthetics are amazing on it.

If you will edit them, just slightly, like using the enhancing button , it should post upright.

Iffn you forget you can ask one of the mods to rotate them for you. Of note you have 30 minutes time after you post to be able to edit your post. After that it takes a mod!

    Great looking combo.

Let us know how that rod performs! I've looked into buying it before, just never pulled the trigger.

I will certainly do that. I'm hoping to go tomorrow or Thursday. It was only slightly more expensive than the Aji-Do and seems to be very similar in regards to guides, and the finish of the blank itself. The reel seat however is different than I have ever seen. it has an a texture to it that is very hard to describe and very subtle. It is not the traditional hard plastic and seems to have a very light EVA\silicone\rubber type feel. I like it very much. The fit and finish as well as the aesthetics of the seat and butt cap are are very nice as well. I can't tell if that is real wood or not but it looks beautiful in my eyes.

I'm glad you said that, I thought that is what the UL stood for but there is another place on the rod that says "light" so I was a bit confused.
