I went Crappie fishing with Nino yesterday. The wind stayed low and the temps were in the 50’s. Fish cooperated pretty well and I had some extra fun with this feller on my TSS with some twitchmaster 3lb. How I love the runs they make with the drag screaming in protest. I only got this one but Nino got many more. He trolled through a school of them and had three rods down at once. It was kinda fun to watch. Hope y’all get out and stay warm. Til next time……Skeet

Lot's of fun on ultralight gear. Did Nino catch all three? That would be quite an accomplishment.

BC, they don’t come to the boat easy. Thankfully he didn’t gather all the other lines like they’re famous for.

Ketchn, that there be a hybrid white bass/striper cross with many names. Down here we just call em stripers or drag burners.

Jim, yes he boated all three. When they run big it’s quite an experience. He and I were out in early October and went through a school twice and 5 rods went down each time. We boated four each time.

And Slab, thems big feet and big insulated bibs. I think he’s around 16” or a little bigger. These fish are fat too. Shad population must be good cuz they’re bordering on chubby. I wish I knew the secret to target just them. I’d be absolutely useless and obsessed!
