Default New Rod Day Majorcraft Aji Do 1G class

I'm not sure who else here orders from Digitaka but they ship fast. Put the order in on this one Saturday night and it arrived yesterday. This is the new Majorcraft Aji Do 1G. I got the 5 foot light version. Specifications identical to the Aji Do 5G but different blank and components. I decided to pull the trigger when I saw the weight, 48 grams. It feels pretty nice for a $100 rod. Can't wait to break it in tomorrow.

    Very nice !
Look at the specs on that rod .
I can’t imagine what’s the specs on an UL would be !
Should be an awesome rod .
    Can’t wait for a report/review!

I’ve built so many rods of late that I have to sit on my hands when you show me one like that. Very Nice! I love that grip and I’m still trying to find a supplier that I can buy through. Been turned down by a bunch of them, not available. That’s going to fish nice, I’m sure. Sensitivity will be great as light as it is. Enjoy it and keep us posted.

Congratulations. Good luck tomorrow as the weather looks to be damp…

    I just ordered the 6’8” light .
I wanted the 6’2” , but it was out of stock at the moment.
How big is the stripper guide on these rods ?

Changed my mind and was able to cancel my order .
    I just don’t need another rod .

Chaser, you know that rod may have been “The One”. I went to mudhole Friday and picked up a couple of blanks and another beefy rod that was under construction and set aside. I didn’t need any more either but I just couldn’t pass it up. I might upgrade my stable some, one may be a Christmas present for someone.
