    interesting for sure , seen one years ago in a lake I used to hit , it was stupid big , had an eye the size of a darn near a baseball on it ....
    swam by me one day looking at me and to be sure the water was clear as gin and it was stupid BIG !
    saw it a few times ,but never hooked it , bet that was a rodeo for sure ....

    Thanks everyone, it was easily the biggest fish I've ever caught. I fish alone 90% of the time but wish I had someone with me that morning. Would have been a great video of me trying to grab it by the gills because it soaked me with stinky, lake bottom water. Wish I had taken a couple still shots when I had it against the bank.

    Great fish of a lifetime, for sure. And I got excited about the big tilapia I caught that wasn’t near that size. Amazing job Jim, good skills and good equipment paid off that day.
