Default Tict RF & Shimano Vanquish…

    pair well together imo.

I was at a work conference this week and had 30 minutes to kill before dinner one night. I brought my gear with me and set off for the lake.

I paired the Tict RF with the Vanquish 1000ssspg and 2lb FC - it did not disappoint. I only caught 3 bluegills but 2 of them were decent size and put a good bend to the rod. The rod is quite sensitive imo and I was able to feel just about every little bump on the bottom or bite I got. Of the JDM rods that I own, the RF might feel the best in my hand. The reel performed as expected and can cast 1.5g jig head quite a ways.

As an added bonus, the two look great together with both being black with some silver mixed in. That also brought a smile to my face.

Nice catch. Tict makes fantastic rods. I sold my RF, wish I hadn’t. I still have the Tict Rockin Drift which is like having something spiritual in your hand.

    Regards

Nice catches, TXP! I have a Tict RF as well and need to get it out more often and cast a few. Thanks for taking us along!

Default Tict RF & Shimano Vanquish…

Back at it with the Tict RF, Vanquish, 2lb Sunline FC, and the tried and true 1.5 daiwa jig head. This outing I used a Zman Green Pumpkin Tiny Tickler and fished for about an hour.

The highlight of the day was 2.82 lb bass I landed. It took about 5 or so minutes to tire it out and get it to the bank. Also caught 4 small crappie around 8-9 inches.

Not a bad hour of fishing. I took a picture of the RF and reel. They look like they were made for each other - looks real good.
