    Sounding good so far !

I fished my Abu Garcia Mass Beat 3 travel rod this morning. Awesome rod for the money IMO .
Fun enough for the little ones , but will handle a bigger one , if needed.
I agree, Gill. When my MB Gen 1 broke, I ordered the 3 and was willing to pay ebay shipping for it. It was that fun of a rod.

Out of all my JDM rods I find myself reaching for the MB and luvias 1003 the most. Last outing my line kept breaking and after inspection noticed the ceramic eyelet was cracked, trying to source a new eyelet now.
If you cast it they will come.

Not sure which eyelet you need. If it is the tip that should be fairly easy to accquire. I just ordered a tip (actually several) for a TCB rod last night from Mudhole. Not sure about how to get a single eyelet if it is not the tip. Might want to ask in the Rod Building sub forum.

Just me 2 cents, CPW, but I fixed top cracked eyelid once with epoxy...which when dried became smooth rendered the guide functional. Now mind you I only had a hairline crack and not missing a chunk. Hope this help.

Gill, i love the Mass Beat Gen 1 skeleton handle so much didn't have the heart to throw it out. Using a section of strong bamboo chopstick as insert I now have a 4'3" XXUL when attaching to MB3 top. It should be a blast catching micros...finger crossed!Name: 20230820_215602.jpg

Zekepa, it's the tip eyelet. I have no idea what the size is.

That's part of the reason I ordered several. Once they arrive I'll have a better understanding of the sizing.

Like gill I have a rod on order, supposed to arrive the beginning of September.

The eyelets them selves weren't that expensive. If you can wait a bit once I get the eyelets I can mail you one.

If you have a set of calipers you could take two measurements or I can If I actually get the rod this time.
