And love them like I do, I can’t say yes after buying the reel right now. And that hurts. It would go so well with my Presso 1025.

Looks like they're all five footers except one 6', or my japanglish is rusty... I just ponied up for another PLS system, so the fishing budget is slim right now. Not to mention, I rarely trout fish!

I hear ya. While I would love to get the 6 foot version….
it is not in stock, and, my budget is slim right now also. Would make a fantastic bluegill or crappie rod.

    Regards

I don’t feel so bad now. I thought the 6’ version was available. That’s all that would interest me right now. Maybe I’ve got time to squirrel away a few bucks for when they do come in.

I don't think anyone has one of these yet, but anyone have opinions based off off the Majorcraft site on what's different between the 5'11" and 6 ft models. Looks like they are both rated as light.

I kinda wish they had an UL model that was somewhere around 6 ft.

Hard to say. I am strongly considering the 5’ 11” myself. Funny thing though the 6 foot model weighs 2 grams less. I have found with area trout rods, no matter the brand an L designation really is more like an UL rod.

Upon further review the 511 is designed for Ester line and the 6 footer is designed for PE line. That’s the difference.

I have the 5'11 sitting in my cart.

It's dangerous having it just sitting there, who know when it might accidently get bought.

Well the rod isn't in my cart anymore. I stopped torturing myself and placed the order.

5'11" Banshee was waiting for me when I got home from work. Mounted a Presso reel with varivas lemoni line to it with a .7g jig head with a mostly black trout magnet and walked over to the pond. Caufht the Sunfish came on the first cast. Bass came a little later. Caught around a dozen total in about a half hour.Name: 20240327_143942.jpg
