    Default Unique Jig Head

Have some Duo Tetra Works Snip Head jigs on order. Thought I would give them a test run. The jig looks like a pill head...until you look at it from the front. The hook is also open gaped. Be interesting to see how they work for bluegill and shell cracker.

I would guess the rearward hookeye is to achieve some level balancing?
Otherwise it looks like it would limit the space to the hook Point . Maybe that’s why the gap is open .

Very interesting hook design. Let us know what you think when you get time.

Wonder how they would work on a drop shot rig.

Unusual, I agree. I’m waiting to hear your thoughts after a trip or two.
How heavy? They’re very clean looking, no flash or seams visible. Very nicely made.
