Nice catches. Braid at 0.11 will break at 10 pounds. I’ll use it when popping a D2 jig in the White River for trout. Had many folks fish with me wanting to know why I was catching 5 to their one. With mono doing that you miss far too many fish. You can’t get a hook in them with all that stretch you have in mono. And when I get my boat I’ll most likely have a rod set up to pull bluegill and shell cracker out of the lily pads at Bald Knob. I don’t like braid but need different lines for different situations.

I don’t like braid either , but I do need something stronger that will still give me good casting distance.
I was surprised how good this stuff cast .
I think I should have given the Daiwa braid a longer trial .
I don’t think I ever really fished it , I just tried casting it in the driveway .
I think the braid reacts differently when wet .
I’m more concerned with castability than I am breaking strength as long as it’s rated more than 4# .
