Baby reel came today

About a week ago I ordered a Shimano Soare BB 500 sspg with a shallow spool. My first impressions are that I love it. Not super light but feels lighter than some of the other affordable 500’s I’ve handled. A good step up from the regular President 20’s that I have. Very smooth and spins for a long time when you stop turning it, and I’m sure it will settle in some. I spooled it with some Varivas master pe in .175 which is 5 and a half pound test. I really like the taper of the lip on the spool. Looks like it should cast real good. Put it on my 6’ build for 2-6 lb line so it should be all set. It passed my expectations for smooth and looks, and the drag sounds good too. More on it when it gets wet, and that’s not soon enough for me.,
