This is the problem with these reels. When you fish the good ones you don’t want to go back down….then the journey begins….LOL. In 2012 I got the Luvias…then a Certate…then a Daiwa Ignis Type R…then a Shimano Twin Power, all made in Japan. I told myself that this is expensive and I went down to the Daiwa Iprimi reel. I immediately got rid of it. Was it a bad reel….nope….it just wasn’t as good as what I was used to. The Presso is one of my favorites. I have 3 reels out in my shop that I’m supposed to do a review on…3 reels worth 1800 dollars. The Stella…Exist and a Vanquish. But they are not mine. A guy wanted to see what I thought of the reels and do reviews on them. I have had these reels since September and I really need to get them back to him. But I sure wish they were mine. The feel you get when one is in your hand is amazing. I have said for years I will buy an Exist someday but never have. The new Exist SF coming out is only 135 grams for the 1000 series. As I have told folks on my YouTube channel since it started…one certainly does not need these reels to catch fish. While many will say they’re overpriced and so on, one can’t deny just how fine a piece of machinery they are. It reminds me of when I did my 3 years in Germany and got to hunt there. I was introduced to the finest shotguns in the world. I was privileged to be able hunt with them. Of course I could not afford those guns but I sure wish I could have.
