    Default First try- 1 Eye

With temps. hittin 70 just had to give the creek a try today. Have been very ill last few months and recently finished 6 weeks of daily treatments. To make matters worse, some nerve issues I have which causes numbness and weakness in the limbs has become worse due to side effects of the treatments. Just being out there today felt good, those mallards didn't seem too impressed with my fish catchin skills. Didn't last very long but did manage to hook a small Eye swimming a small plastic. Water felt very cold but should be warming up shortly.

Glad to see that you felt good enough to get out and catch a few. Congrats.

So glad to hear you’re feeling better and strong enough to get out. I can truly say that I know the feeling. That’s a good fish for your efforts. I like your spot too. Peaceful and pretty, I could spend some time there. After being in a truck and reading with no TV or noise to bother and distract, I have to have quiet to enjoy what I’m reading. I could enjoy a good book and a comfortable chair there for a few hours. Praying you continue to improve and get out again soon.

I have missed your posts as well. Hope the summer gets you out more and the sun at your back. I think my home water is about good to go!
