Can't wait to try this one out! If it's anything like my Theta, I'll be a happy camper. Now I just need a new rod to pair it with!!

Congrats! My nephew fished 2 Zenon 1000S reels on the White River couple of weeks back. In 3 days of fishing he landed 250 trout in the 18-23 inch range. He was really impressed with the reels. He came home and bought 3 more. I would love to have bought a 3rd but I’m going through money at our new home like I would go through a Tomahawk Ribeye….LOL.

    Regards

Well I have to admit, the beer I drank probably made it a little easier for me to hit the buy button!!!

I’m waiting for the price to drop back down around $230 and will likely go for it then.

It’s a really nice reel. No play in any parts. Just wish the drag sang like the Theta. Zenon drag is a bit muted. Fun nonetheless.

Wow, that's amazing on a grand scale!

That comes out to 83 trophy trout a day for 3 days straight! I'm heading out there! Bet your nephew was tired after all that work.

I’ve been going to the White River….off and on…for about 12 years. But I always fished out of Norfork Trout Dock. My nephew has been fishing it for 30 years….and up until a about a year ago also only fished out of the Norfork area. The fish in the area around and and upstream from Gaston’s are just much better quality…meaning bigger. The worst day I ever had on the White I netted 50 trout. While at Cotter 2 weeks ago I was only able to bank fish for about 15 minutes. Had 2 nice browns caught on a Forest MIU Abalone spoon. My wife was supposed to be filming but she did not have camera going….LOL. No doubt in my mind I can catch all the trout I want off the bank at Cotter. My nephew caught all those fish off of Trout Magnets D2 jig. Trust me…it is am amazing lure when you have more current…deeper water

    Regards
