Default New JDM rod ordered .

I got a gift card for Christmas from my daughter from Amazon, so searching around , I found a four piece 6’3” Daiwa Iprimi XUL . Available through Amazon Japan .
It’ll take about two weeks for it to arrive .
Wished it were an UL and about 6” shorter , but I’m moving toward travel rods and this one will make a fun green sunfish rod for jigging around boat ramp rip rap.

I got confused. And I can’t go back and edit my original post .
    I was looking at two travel rods , one a 6’3” , the other a 6’ .
The one I ordered is a 6’ Daiwa Iprimi 4 piece XUL.

The other was an Abu Garcia 4 piece 6’3” light .

I’ve looked at that 4 piece Daiwa a few times for taking on motorcycle rides. It would fit perfectly in a saddlebag. I have the 5’6”XXUL 2 piece and really enjoy it. Be curious as to your impressions once you get it out!

I have the 5’6” XXUL and IMO is limited in its use .
I’m hoping the 6’ XUL will have a little more in the two butt sections .
Plus it’ll be more portable and handy, fitting into my RAV4 . Since I lost my Tacoma last February.

Yes, I agree. I only use it for small spoons in our local stocked trout pond. But it does that very well!
