Let's not forget the new friend I made a month ago that I've given the name Crackers that swims to me from the other side of the lake when it sees me launching the boat. I always bring Ritz Crackers that it goes nuts for. He or she follows the boat the whole time and is smart enought not to get anywhere near the line in the water besides which all casts are 40', the lure no where near the bird:

It's parnter who I've name Quacker like in quack quack, hasn't been around in a while.

The weather forecast never mentioned a 15-20mph wind. The 10 lb anchor was dragged slowly and I had to troll back to the spots that held fish. I was happy with the 24 fish which were caught in three hours - not including over a doz. midgets like this tyke:
