Default All is well in Arkansas!

Next month I’ll be 71 years old. It was a big decision to up and move out here. I came for many reasons. One of the main reasons was of course the world class trout fishing. On the Little Red you don’t go fishing…..you go catching…..LOL. Today was a fantastic day. Boated 60 quality trout in 3 hours using a Carabus Extreme 66 area trout rod strung up with some Varivas Infinity PE 5.6# test line. I tell you folks there is not much that feels better than when 16-17 inch trout hit a Forest MIU 2.8 gram abalone colored spoon on the swing in current. The pace of life out here is much slower for us and wife and I are loving it. The house is coming along at a good clip. After we get in the house I will get a new boat and find some crappie and bluegill waters also. Life is good and getting better!

    Regards

Probably a good thing you’re there to make sure house is built the way you want it and are happy with as well. Glad things are going good for you. Love the pics.

Thanks Dave....I tell ya...never knew having a house built would be this involved for me. We check on it maybe not everyday but almost...LOL. Which I have learned is a good thing as we have already had to point out certain things that were not how it was supposed to be. My builder even told us to drop by often for this very reason. Keeping us busy for sure.

Sounds like they don't mind the supervising which is a good thing. You get the house you want and they get a happy customer and good reviews.

The Little Red is a lot of fun. Anytime I went for awhile without a bite, I knew it was time to change flies. It almost doesn't seem possible not to have some fish within casting distance in that place.
