I’ve always heard to watch the birds from back in the days of bass fishing and I was told to watch for the redwing blackbirds hanging out on the bull rushes. It seems that the bass knocking around the bull rushes dislodges bugs and the blackbirds take advantage. The Herons are always in some of the best spots. They never look skinny either.
