Took 15 of the 1.5g glow jigs - removed the paint and then powdered painted them black. They look pretty good and I’ll give them a go this fall.

Anyways, I think I’ve beat this subject to death. Back to the discussion regarding the glow and red glow jigs

I’m following along with interest, Tex. I plan to do something similar. Good info!

When you dip the jig head into the powder paint, hold it by the eye. If you don’t, you run the risk of covering the eye with the paint.

Took some more glow and red glow jig heads and painted them black. This should last me for awhile.

At first I painted over the original colors as I didn’t want to bother removing the paint. It didn’t work too well so I removed all paint on the jigs with acetone.

Used ProTec black powder paint on the jigs and then baked them at 325 degrees for 10 minutes.

The new plain tungsten jigs w/SasSaq hook are out. Just bought almost $250 worth. Only 3 per pack, still about $1 each. I haven't tried to powder coat any yet. At the usual suspects...
