Glad you got your house sold. Looks like things are falling in place and I hope they continue to do so. I also hope you are able to bust some big trout while you are down there. I saw where Leland Lures is teaming up with D2 jigs. Have you had a chance to use any of the D2 jigs?

Thanks…..I have fished them and they are a great bait. Mate them up with a good Ajing rod and you’ve got a killer combo. I sold my Corto 2018 and now regret it. That is the perfect rod to fish the D2. Caught a bunch of trout this a.m. many times doubling up. Not a fish on ever cast but darn near! My host and I were both using JDM trout spoons…..nothin big but when using UL tackle 12-14 inch trout are a blast.

I’ll have to give the D2 jigs a try or may visit the tying station. I for sure think the Corto would be awesome for those jigs and might give it a try. Glad you are on the fish and I hope you hook into a toad!
