    Default Educate Me JDM Jigs


    So I've been reading all the comments / reviews here plus you tube from Alpha and ifish and decided to take a swing at purchasing some. To my surprise I found these on etsy and Amazon.

    Cultiva on etsy and Dawia on Amazon. Amazon was a little pricey but what the heck.

    My questions are did I get the correct weights and hook sizes most here desire?
    They look really nice and hooks seem sharp.

    Congrats.....looks good to me. I use the 3 different weights you purchased.....well 2 anyway. I consider 0.9 and 1 gram to be virtually the same. I don't have any #12 hooks but I don't know why that would not work. I've owned the jigs you have laid out there. I was just out in the garage today loading up my tackle bag...jig boxes.....to get ready to head to the Little Red River for a week. I am down to only a dozen of the 1.5 gram Daiwa Gekkabijin with a #10 hook. Have plenty of other sizes with number 6 and 8 hook but my 1.5 gram stash is slowly going away. All of my purchases are on hold until November 15th.

    I haven’t gone down that rabbit hole yet but what you bought is in li e with what I normally use. I see posts of folks saying they use from .5 gram and up. I always have to get out the calculator to figure out what they weigh in layman’s terms.
