Looked at another stretch of creek yesterday and decided to give it a try today even though we had some storms come through overnite. Water was a bit clouded and running stronger than usual. Was able to get two good hours in before the T-storms moved back in. Went up a size in split shot from #3/0 to a #7 about a foot above bait to slow the drift and seemed to work. Nothing real big but nice fish on the TFO ultralight rod. Caught quite a few real small ones (3"-5"), and nothing but Smallmouths today.
