Default BnM Leland TCB aka TheyCatchBass

Still not a fan of the long handle but I will give credit when it is due. Good casting rod, sensitive and has handled quite a few good size Smallmouths lately with ease. Fits in well with how I have been fishing these creeks. Didn't hurt that it balances perfectly with one of my old Garcia Mitchell 308 UL reels. Here's a few pics from today putting it to good use.Name: DSC02237.jpg

Awesomeness. I have two TCBs and absolutely love them.

I second your TCB. I have the TSS version and I agree that I wish the poodle tail was a little shorter, but that said a Terrific rod. I fought a smallie a couple of days ago and it handled the fish just fine.

Pretty fish. As many times I have been with Jeff Smith….owner of Leland’s Lures…I have never inquired as to why the long handle. But I am going out next week and will visit with him…and maybe go fishing together…..and I’m going to ask. I do know they tried to somewhat duplicate a JDM type rod…although at a much cheaper price. I’ve landed some big fish with those rods.

    Regards

I love myTSS and it’s done it’s share of bringing good fish to hand. If I didn’t have too many rods already I’d probably be weak and get a TCB.
