Default Worthy opponents for U/L gear

80's and very humid this evening but wanted to get a few hours in checking areas along the creek. Very nasty T-storms predicted before tomorrow morning. The rainbow leftover from the spring stocking. Had never fished for these smallies until the other day and they are impressive to say the least.Name: DSC02044.jpg

That reminds me so much of my home water, moon. I love those lay downs, and they just have to be loaded with fish.

The Smallmouth here in TN are getting close to their southern range limit and that makes them grow fast and strong and flat out mean. They are an exciting fish to catch on UL equipment, and even more fun in skinny waters. Great catch!

Nice specimens. I enjoy wading for trout and smallies myself. Looks nice and peaceful!

Those are nice fish. I remember the few I got into in TN, they fight like they’re possessed! A nice day for sure. I could take a chair and a good book and spend the morning on that shallow bar, beautiful place. Thanks for the pics.
